You can delete your PlayClash account at any time. This page tells you exactly how, what we delete, and what we keep (and why).
Delete from inside the app
- Open the PlayClash app on Android or iOS.
- Tap Profile (bottom-right).
- Tap Settings (gear icon, top-right).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Re-enter your password to confirm.
- Tap Yes, delete my account.
Your account is immediately deactivated. You can sign in within 30 days to cancel the deletion; after 30 days it is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete by email
If you cannot access the app (for example your phone broke or you lost your sign-in method), email [email protected] from the address you registered with and ask for your account to be deleted. We respond within 5 working days and the same 30-day grace period applies from the day we confirm.
What we delete
- Your profile (name, photo, bio, sports, position, city).
- Your posts, comments, likes and direct messages you sent.
- Uploaded videos and live-stream recordings.
- Your match history, scores and ranking entries.
- Your approximate location history.
- Your device tokens (push notifications stop).
- Your guardian consent record if the account was for a minor.
What we keep, and why
- Ledger entries, bookings, invoices and KYC records — kept for 7 years, as required by financial record-keeping laws (Pakistan Income Tax Ordinance 2001; comparable rules in the USA for AILAB Solutions, LLC). These rows are kept against a pseudonymised identifier; your name and contact are removed.
- Audit log and anti-fraud signals — kept for up to 2 years at a pseudonymised identifier, so we can respond to disputes and refund requests you file after deletion.
- Content you posted that was already shared with other users (a public match score, a club post with comments on it) may remain visible as part of their record; your name on that content becomes "Deleted user".
Timings
- Deactivation — immediate.
- Reversible period — 30 days.
- Deletion of profile, posts and media — within 7 days of the 30-day period ending.
- Deletion from backups — within 60 days of permanent deletion.
- Pseudonymised financial records — retained 7 years from the transaction date, then deleted.
Minors
If the account is for a user under 18, the user or their guardian can request deletion by either route above. Guardian consent records are kept until the child turns 18 plus three years, then deleted.
